We had a fantastic third Thanksgiving together. We have managed to make a tradition of taking a walk in the mountains before coming home and cooking like crazy...even if we are only cooking for ourselves.
It was lovely Fall day, but we missed the snow. The rest of our evening was spent in our kitchen, one of our favorite places to be.
First, we made cibatta and a cranberry-apple cobbler.
Just look at that bread!
Then we made some pasta. It's really simple. Just mix 3 eggs and two cups of flour until you have a nice dough ball.
You let it rest and then divide into 6 or 8 balls, flatten, and cut into strips. We use our incredible pasta maker for that step!
Next, it's time to set the table and enjoy our untraditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Don't worry, Andy got to eat Turkey on Friday, along with Turduckin.
Happy Holidays everyone :)
